Fall for me is permission. Permission to take a step out of the social spotlight, let the noise flush through in order to soften. I'm an extroverted introvert which means putting my happy face on takes a lot of energy. I love being around people, I can chat for ages, make jokes and laugh but then I crash. I need silence, I need to not be needed and I need long breaths of cold air on a regular basis to be ok. How about you?

I just came back from a trip to Paris together with a large group of creative women and I'm filled to the brim with inspiration - Monet! Matisse! Rodin! I'm dying to bring out the largest canvases I can find and paint for days but what I really need is to eat Cheese Doodles and watch the rain for a bit.

Fall season means misty mornings and capturing the softness of a landscape wrapped in fog happens to be my calling. Luckily I have a dog now who also loves to be out before anyone else.
