This time of year inevitably invites thoughts about the year that has past and the year to come. As well as thoughts on how the heck your 8-year old still believes in Santa and how a tree full of ornaments will survive an…energetic puppy like ours.

My creative year begins in the dark months, as soon as the noise of Christmas turns quiet I get to slow down, roll up my pants and make a glorious mess on the studio floor. I've bought canvases, paint and paper, all ready for creative experimentation and it's the greatest reward I could ever think up.
