30 minutes ago my kids went to school for the first time in three weeks and I'm silently high-fiving myself for making it through another school holiday unscathed. Don't get me wrong, I love them to Pluto and back but with the weather we've had lately they don't get to run around outside enough and that quickly brings us fist fights over who gets to play with the dog and a dog that goes nuts from all the fun play which terrifies the cat - you get the picture.

I have snuck up the stairs more than a few times, headphones on, moving through my landscapes and dreaming of peaceful mountains and misty waters. Silence.
